American History and Culture
Have you ever noticed that Americans do some things differently than they do in your culture? Have you ever wondered why? For example:
- Why do American leave a tip on the table when they eat at a restaurant?
- Why do American school start in the fall and end in the spring?
- Why are Americans crazy about football?
This course explains these curiosities of American culture, along with several others, and shows how America's history has helped to shape its culture.
The class meets at our offices an hour a week for 12 weeks.
